Lydia Johnson

Experience and Background

Lydia was born and raised in Boulder County, Colorado, graduated from Bob Jones University in South Carolina, and has been an SC resident ever since. Her focus was Journalism and Mass Media, which opened doors upon graduation with Real Estate Marketing at The Greenville News (owned by Gannett) and The Greenville Journal, (now Community Journals) a local news and community media company. In 2012, Lydia made the jump from real estate marketing to REALTOR, and along with teammates Mikel Ann Scott, and Lora Pfohl, she works with buyers, sellers and local investors under GreenvilleOne at Marchant Real Estate. GreenvilleOne is a referral based team, focused on top notch customer service, paired with highest level industry knowledge. They are able to incorporate their marketing backgrounds into the selling process in a way that reaps the highest benefit for sellers, and their communication/negotiation skills, along with area and industry knowledge, make them hard to beat on the buying side.

Personal/Community Interests

Lydia and her husband have three children, the oldest currently attending university in Lynchburg, VA. Lydia is a member of the Greater Greenville Association of REALTORS, and the Multiple Listing Service. Lydia and her family are heavily involved with Addis Jemari, an organization focused on ending generational property and keeping families together in Ethiopia. Lydia, and her family, consider it an honor to be able to travel in-country and work on the ground there, as well as from here in SC. Being a part of the home selling and buying process for family, friends, and friends of friends, is not just a job to Lydia, but a career that yields so much excitement and satisfaction, and the Marchant Real Estate family is like no other in the Upstate, providing the best support for superior service.
