Seabrook Marchant, a life-long resident of Greenville and graduate of Clemson University, has dedicated most of his career to the real estate business and helping clients achieve their home buying and selling dreams. In September 2020, Seabrook was awarded The Order of the Palmetto by South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster at the 6th Annual LEAD Greenville event. The Order of the Palmetto is the state’s highest civilian honor awarded to citizens of South Carolina for extraordinary lifetime service and achievements of national or statewide significance. After two years of active duty with the US Army and various sales and management positions, Seabrook founded Marchant Real Estate in 1993. He has amassed a copious amount of experience and success as he has served as President of both the Greater Greenville Association of Realtors, Greenville Multiple Listing Service, named Realtor of the Year in 1981, served as Secretary and Treasurer of The South Carolina Association of Realtors, Chairman of The South Carolina Realtors Political Action Committee (RPAC), and named “Realtor Emeritus” by NAR in 2009. Seabrook is married with three children and seven grandchildren; outside of real estate he enjoys tennis, golf, and community service.
