Seabrook entered the real estate business in 1968 after a brief career in the textile business, two years of active duty with the US Army and various sales and management positions until founding Marchant Real Estate in 1993. In September 2020, Seabrook was awarded The Order of the Palmetto by South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster at the 6th Annual LEAD Greenville event. The Order of the Palmetto is the state’s highest civilian honor awarded to citizens of South Carolina for extraordinary lifetime service and achievements of national or statewide significance. He is past President of both the Greater Greenville Association of REALTORS® and Greenville Multiple Listing Service. Seabrook was named “REALTOR® of the Year” in 1981. Served as Secretary and Treasurer of The South Carolina Association of REALTORS® and Chairman of The South Carolina REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) and named “REALTOR® Emeritus” by NAR in 2009. Director of The Home Builders Association of Greenville. Past President of The Greenville Touchdown Club, Past Chairman of the Civil Service Commission for The City of Greenville, Past Chairman of The Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Tournament Committee. Married to the former Anne Hendrix; three children, Brian, Mary Beth, and Laura; and seven grandchildren. In 2015, Seabrook founded LEAD Upstate, a 501C3 Non-Profit which bridges the community and law enforcement together in the name of appreciation and gratitude.
Anne is a graduate of Furman University and the Wyatt School of Real Estate. She is in her eleventh year with Marchant Real Estate, upon retiring after 34 years as Litigation Coordinator for The Wyche Law Firm in Greenville where she specialized in preparing cases for trial. Anne works with her son, Brian, on the “March to SOLD” team.
Anne is motivated to provide professional assistance to her clients to achieve the best results whether they are buying or selling a home. Her past legal experience helps with negotiating a contract price and negotiating repairs, etc.
She and her husband, Seabrook, have three children and seven wonderful grandchildren (5 boys and 2 girls). Anne is a member of the Greater Greenville Association of REALTORS®, Multiple Listing Service, and Buncombe Street United Methodist Church. She volunteers with Meals on Wheels and Habitat for Humanity. She loves spending time with her grandchildren, attending lots of athletic events to watch them play, and showing newcomers around our wonderful downtown and surrounding areas.

Seabrook, Anne, and Brian Marchant are co-owners of Marchant Real Estate. Brian is also Vice President, and Chief Financial Officer with company. Brian was born and raised in Greenville, SC and is a 1995 graduate of Wofford College with a B.A. in Economics. He also graduated from the Wyatt School of Real Estate in Greenville, SC. In 2019, he has been in the real estate business for 24 years. Brian works with his mother, Anne, on the “March to SOLD” team.
Finding his client the “perfect” home is what Brian always tries to do. He also enjoys the process of assisting his client in finding a builder to build their “dream” home. Listing homes for sale and getting them sold in a timely manner is what he strives to do. His motivation comes from helping his family’s real estate business continue to grow and excel in all areas. He enjoys making new friends in the process!
Brian is a member of the Greater Greenville Association of REALTORS®, Multiple Listing Service, and Buncombe Street United Methodist Church. He was inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame at Christ Church Episcopal School in 2003 for both tennis and basketball. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Brian has an 11 year old son named Parker. He is a member of the Greenville County Club and enjoys playing golf and tennis. He spends lots of time watching Parker play baseball, tennis, and basketball. He also enjoys participating on host committees to raise money for local charities. He is a volunteer with Meals on Wheels and Habitat for Humanity.

Away from the office, Tom is an active member of First Presbyterian Church where he serves as an Elder, participates in Search Men’s Ministries, and has been actively involved in youth development and mentoring. He and Gidge were highly active in their kids’ schools and extracurricular activities, and are now enjoying the fruits of an empty nest.

Kendall Bateman is the Business Development Director as well as an Associate Broker for Marchant Real Estate. Kendall brings a strong background in local residential real estate sales and marketing to the Marchant Real Estate team and is a licensed Broker in South Carolina. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Clemson University and has previous experience in the real estate and custom home building industries.
Kendall is a native of Greenville, South Carolina. When Kendall isn’t busy working she enjoys traveling to the coast and mountains, Clemson football tailgating and spending time enjoying all that Greenville has to offer with her husband, William, and four young children.
